- Skiing
Corviglia, Corvatsch/Furtschellas, and Diavolezza/Lagalb are our three major and well-known ski areas. But the smaller ones are in no way inferior to them. Their charm has already captivated many a skier. It all depends on what you are looking for. We are convinced you will find the right one for you.
- Cross-country skiing
The cross-country skiing network in the Upper Engadin is the largest in Switzerland, and in terms of scenery, we can also count it among the most beautiful. Whether over the frozen lakes, through snow-covered forests, or into dreamy side valleys - cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find what they are looking for: Top slope quality, guaranteed snow, diverse topography, and rich scenery. The only downside is that it's impossible to explore it all the first time. So don't worry if you, too, become a repeat offender in terms of cross-country skiing in the Engadin.
- Winter hiking
When there is a crackle under the soles of your shoes with every step you take, when you can see the air you exhale, and when the low temperatures awaken all your spirits - then it's winter. And in the Engadin, winter is long and offers the perfect conditions for those who love to explore the wintry landscape on foot. There is hardly a better way to relax and unwind in nature.
- Snowshoe hiking
Across the frozen lakes, with a view of them from Muottas Muragl, through snow-covered forests into one of the side valleys, or along the Inn between Bever and S-chanf - in the Engadin you will find many marked snowshoe tours. With over 250 kilometers, there is something for every taste. This also applies to the cozy alpine taverns and mountain restaurants, which provide added comfort and treats during your winter hike or snowshoe tour.
- Sledging
Fast steep descents and leisure tobogganing - in the Engadin you will find both. Here we distinguish between slopes that are feasible with small children and those that are fast-paced and require previous experience on the toboggan. Experience fast-paced descents, cozy moonlit tobogganing, and tricky curve manoeuvres on specially prepared routes amid breathtaking winter landscapes.
- Snowkiting
Invented on Lake Silvaplana, snow kiting is all about skimming the frozen lake on skis and snowboards. Performing daredevil jumps and swinging around with colourful kites. It is easy to learn and great fun!
